  • I get depressed at random times, sometimes without a reasonable cause, whats going on?

First I would like to state that I am not even contemplating suicide, so factor that out. Here's some back story. I am a 20M in college. I've never had any sort of depression until about a year ago when some traumatic events happened. I found out that all of the people I called my best friends were in fact talking behind my back on and posting things on FB in this secret group (stumbled on it while using my friends computer when I saw my name pop up on the notifications). Being the independent a...

  • CMV: To Secure Economic Interests is a Reasonable Cause for Military Action

I should start by saying that I believe all other options should be pursued to the fullest before putting the lives of anyone in danger. That being said, I believe that protecting, and even strengthening our economy and therefore our nation is a moral enough cause to put lives on the line. The role of government, especially in the modern world, is to protect not only the lives of its citizens, but to increase their quality of life. A stronger economy leads to better infrastructure, more social...

Reasonable suspicion is a legal standard of proof in United States law that is less than probable cause, the legal standard for arrests and warrants, but more than an "inchoate and unparticularized suspicion or 'hunch ' "; it must be based on "specific and articulable facts", "taken together with rational inferences from those facts", and the ...

  • reasonable cause for firing?

Recently I suffered a pretty intense injury - something dropped on me from a large height and completely shattered my right big toe’s toenail. As such, I am unable to drive and wear closed-toes shoes, two things I have to be able to do to work. The injury is really severe, and I doubt I will be driving/wearing shows in the next week or two, during which time time I am missing 20-30 hours of work, a lot of times where I am the only barista. Can I be fired over this?

  • Reasonable cause to search Jay's home?

So in recent discussion it was explained that since Jay had dumped his clothes and boots in a dumpster, there would be no reason to search his home. **However Jay says in his "supposed" first interview on 2-28-99 on pp.21-22 that he threw his clothes away at home.** Reading ahead, Jay moves to a different house between his 2-28-99 interview and his 3-15-99 interview. Does anyone have any input on why they would not search a home where clothes *used in a homicide* were discarded? **Jen...
